GENERAL
Sarjaa’s products go through a seamless and rigorous quality check process during and after production. Each product is delivered to the customer only after it has cleared a stringent quality check before being packed and shipped. Right from sourcing the raw material to checking the final product at the warehouse before shipping, each product is crafted with care.
For orders within India:
You can pay for your purchase using online payment modes such as credit cards, debit cards and net banking via our payment gateway, Razorpay.
For international orders:
You can pay for your purchase using credit cards or net banking via our international payment gateway, PayPal.
Yes, after placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email that serves as your receipt. This email will include all the vital details about your purchase and the total paid amount. Keep this email for any future needs such as returns or warranty claims.
You'll receive a follow-up email after placing your order. This email will include a link for you to track the shipping and status of your order directly.

At present, we do not have a minimum order value, however, we encourage you to order your favourite products while stocks last.
Once your order is successfully placed, you'll receive a confirmation email. This email not only confirms your order but also includes details about the items you've purchased and the expected delivery timeline. Keep an eye on your inbox (and sometimes your spam folder) to ensure you don't miss this important update.
Yes, but only before it is shipped. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery address cannot be altered. It's crucial to ensure your address details are correct at the time of ordering to avoid any delivery issues.
For orders within India, the delivery time is 3 - 5 days. For international orders, it takes 5 - 10 business days. These timelines are indicative, and we strive to ensure your order reaches you as promptly as possible.
We don't offer direct exchanges for bags. However, you can return the bag for a refund if it's in good condition. Once we confirm the condition of the returned bag, we'll process your refund, and you can place a new order for the bag you prefer.
"Out of Stock" indicates that the product is currently unavailable due to being sold out. Restocking typically takes 20 - 25 days. However, we offer a pre-order option, allowing you to secure your purchase in advance and receive the product as soon as it's back in stock.

RETURNS & CANCELLATION
Yes, in case you would like to return your order, you can raise a return request through Email "Info@sarjaa.in". We accept returns within 10 days of the customer receiving the product(s). The product(s) must be unused and undamaged, and must have packing material, tags, cards, boxes and dust bags intact. Once received by us, the product will be verified at our warehouse before we issue a replacement/refund.
Please note: Returns will not be accepted under the following conditions:
• Product is damaged due to misuse/overuse
• Product is returned without original packaging including price tags, labels, original packing, boxes, dust bags and other accessories or if original packaging is damaged
• Product is used or altered from its original state
• If the return request is initiated after 10 days of order delivery
We can process the refund once the product(s) have been received and verified at our warehouse. For payments made through net banking or debit/credit cards, the refund amount will be sent to the same account from which the payment for the order was made, within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the product(s) back. Due to operational reasons, in some cases, it may take 2-3 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account. For International banks the returns may take 5 - 7 business days.
In case you would like to return your order which is shipped internationally, you can raise a return request through Email "Info@sarjaa.in" . We accept returns within 10 days of the customer receiving the product(s). The product(s) must be unused and undamaged, and must have packing material, tags, cards, boxes and dust bags intact. Once received by us, the product will be verified at our warehouse before we issue a replacement/refund.

Yes, you can cancel your order as long as it has not yet been shipped. If you choose to cancel your order before shipment, the amount will be refunded to you within 24-48 business hours after we receive the cancellation request from you, once the same is duly processed by us.
For payments made through net banking or debit/credit cards, the refund amount will be sent to the same account from which the payment for the order was made.

However, in the rare case that the product you ordered is damaged/made defective during shipment or transit, or the wrong product is provided to you, you can raise a request for replacement within 10 days of receiving your order, or cancel your order and have the amount refunded. MATERIALS & MANUFACTURING
Our products are currently manufactured in South India, Our corporate headquarters are located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu in India.
Our bags are made from innovative, sustainable materials such as apple leather, cactus leather, and pineapple leather. We also utilize organic cotton and eco-friendly metals, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Apple leather is an innovative, sustainable material made from the leftover pomace and peel of apples, which are by-products of the juice industry. This eco-friendly alternative to traditional leather is created by processing these apple remnants into a durable material that mimics the properties of genuine leather, offering an environmentally responsible option for fashion and accessories.
Pineapple leather, known as Piñatex, is made from the fibers of pineapple leaves, a byproduct of the pineapple harvest. These fibers are extracted, washed, and then processed into a non-woven substrate, which is further treated and coated to produce a durable, leather-like material. This process not only utilizes waste from the pineapple industry but also provides an additional income source for farmers, making Piñatex a sustainable and ethical alternative to traditional leather.
Cactus leather is produced from Nopal cactus leaves, harvested sustainably. The leaves are cleaned, mashed, and then left to dry under the sun for several days, which naturally reduces the need for additional energy in processing. This process transforms the cactus fibers into a durable, flexible material that can be used as a sustainable alternative to traditional leather, highlighting an innovative approach to eco-friendly manufacturing.
PRODUCT CARE
To clean your handbag, use the following steps: Each bag comes with a personalized care label depending on what material your bag is. Please do refer to the same. This is a generalized cleaning guide to all our materials:
• Create a solution with warm water and gentle liquid soap
• Dip a soft cloth into the solution, wring it out and gently wipe the exterior surface of the handbag
• Use a second, clean cloth to wipe off the soapy liquid. Dry off with a clean towel
• Straps, zips and hardware can be cleaned by wiping them with a dry clean cloth
Yes, the dust bags can be washed. They are made using organic cotton and can be hand-washed using a gentle liquid detergent. Alternatively, the dust bags can also be dry-cleaned to maintain their shape and durability.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Carbon footprint is a measure of the carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere as a result of the activities of a particular organization or community. It is basically the impact one’s activities have on the environment. At Sarjaa, we are striving each day to keep our carbon footprint low by using recyclable and eco-friendly raw material and efficient production processes.
Sustainability means the saving of natural resources, or avoidance of any activities or incidents which cause depletion of the Earth’s finite resources, or which cause overall harm to the environment. At Sarjaa, sustainability is a major part of our vision and defines everything we do. Our products, processes and policies are completely sustainable, designed to give back what’s good to nature and the communities we serve.
At present, we are 90% sustainable. With time and the development of a deeper understanding of our environment, we aim to become 100% sustainable.
Yes! The material used to make the handbags is fruit and plant-based leather. We utilise the waste material from this industry to make leather, which translates into lesser waste and the creation of a product filled with nature’s goodness. The zips and chains are made using recycled aluminium which can further be recycled.
Absolutely! Our packaging is completely recyclable. Mainly created from recycled art board and recycled paper, our boxes can be further recycled or reused at home. Our dust bags are made from organic cotton, sustainably grown to keep our products fresh and clean. These can be recycled as well. The bag tags and cards are made from seed-papers which can be planted and which grow into different plants, herbs or fruits.

Each and every product created by Sarjaa has a story. A story that begins with and is defined by sustainability. The raw materials used in the products are completely recyclable and vegan. We don’t use toxic chemicals, inorganic dyes or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in our products. Each handbag created by Sarjaa is a reflection of artisanal work handcrafted in India, for which we use 100% eco-friendly ingredients.
